This scene is a continuation of TROY and ROSE’s argument on page 72 Fences. TROY has just told ROSE that he had gotten another woman pregnant. After trying to leave the house TROY grabs ROSE’s arm. (Then enters CORY, CORY attempts to get TROY off of her and is pushed to the ground by his father. After saying some harsh words, Troy exits out the yard and Cory runs over to Rose.)
