My old high school, Ramona High School, is described as a small campus. The current population of students is around two thousand. The school’s diversity is low, and about seventy percent of the student body consists of Hispanics in our school. The school ranks low in many categories; schools grades, and test scores are below average. People consider that our school is “ghetto”, when in reality it is not. Over the four years I attended the school, it improved. The number of fights have gone down, and the test scores have started to go up. The classes are known for being relatively easy, and people can boost their GPA. We are on the 4.0 scale, and in AP classes you could get a 5.0 GPA out of 4.0 GPA. Bentley University is a small campus, when compared to other universities. Other campus populations range from, five thousand students to around twenty thousand students. The school is mildly diverse, and is known for being an all business school. Bentley and Ramona are similar, because they both have a majority of one ethnicity. This plays a big part of how a school is perceived and treated. Bentley University’s classes are rigorous, and involve a lot of effort, while Ramona’s classes are easy to pass, as long as you did homework, and got a C on an exam. Bentley’s schedules are also different from my high school. At Bentley, the students are able to sign up for their classes, and can attend their classes at the time they signed up for. Student can schedule their classes to only go to them twice a week, and can even have a day where they do not attend a class.
