Volleyball Volleyball is a sport that consists of a minimum of six players who have the ultimate goal to score twenty-five points before the opposite team. The objective of this game is to pass the ball nicely to the setter, who then sets the ball to the spiker, who then spikes the ball over the net, therefore, making it difficult for the other team to receive it, which results in earning a point. Like any sport, the majority of these athletics always ask themselves what they can do to improve and be considered a good team. Unlike other teams, Metro Tech Varsity volleyball team is not cohesive and needs tremendous improvement to even be considered a team.

Calling the ball helps prevent injuries throughout the game because it would prevent the player from colliding together. Having contact outside of the court is also important because if a practice is ever canceled or there is a special request that needs to be settled than the coaches or captains let the players know. Aside from the reality that the players didn’t communicate outside of the court they also didn’t communicate on the court during the game. Even after the game they didn’t stay and talk about ways they could amend their mistakes all they did was point each other's flaws out. The coach, as well as the members of this team, were in need of mental strength. They’d let their emotions get the best of them and had a fixed mindset were they blamed others for their own errors. They still haven’t learned to accept what happened and move on being able to understand that not everyone can win and sometimes people do lose. They should be the bigger person and help that athlete so, when the next ball comes she can get it successfully.
North and Carl Hayden High school have one of the best volleyball teams in the district because the girls work together, they play every position as told, their positive energy fills up the atmosphere, and they communicate well on and off the court. In addition to the girls being on top of it, their coaches also help them preserve into growing into an actual volleyball team, unlike Metro Tech.
These were just a few of the main troubles that the girls on Metro Tech Varsity volleyball team faced this year alone. Out of all the teams in the Phoenix Union High School District, this is the poorest team. It is highly recommended to not associate oneself with this team or the coaches due to the negativity that comes along with
