Heavy metal is one of, if not the Best music genre of all time. Since the 1980's heavy metal and hard rock have sunk to the bottom of the music charts being replaced by genre's such as rap, or hip hop some of which can hardly be classified as music. Genres like rap are a disgrace to singers like Corey Taylor, Ivan Moody, or James Hetfield who use their natural talent and don't need auto tune to sound even remotely decent. Metal and Rock are some of the only actual Music genres left. Heavy Metal, and Rock are some of the last few genres that actually use real guitars and drums to make real music rather than the computer generated background noise in most if not all rap and hip hop. Singers and all members of most Metal and Rock bands are insulted by the excessive use of auto tune and other electric voice modulators and/or music generators because they are basically spitting in the faces …show more content…
Everyone has a different view on religion but here are some cases of religious views of metal artists. Ivan Moody of 5FDP sings "I won't bow to something that I've never seen can't believe in something that doesn't believe in me. I'm not blood of your blood, I'm no son of your god, I've no faith in your fate, still I find salvation" from "Salvation" Ivan talks about how he doesn't believe in the average god. Ivan also sings "I spoke to God today and she said that she's ashamed." stating that he believes that god is a female. Other bands like Godsmack for example have songs like "Bad Religion" stating "Looking down on as I beat you It's bad religion, from a broken nation." saying that the war over religions is getting out of hand. Another band Black Veil Brides has a song called "Faithless" where Andy Biersack sings "Even when I fall down to my knees I never say a prayer I don't believe, And I don't wanna look up to the Son, But I will never be the faithless one." saying that he believes in a god but only refers to it as "the
