Introduction This contextual project work is consisting of 10 concepts from the module entitled Concept of administration. Each one of the concepts will be described in terms of its meaning, will be critically analyzed for its real life application and will be followed by some reference of the current research evidence. Real life application will explore a possible relationship of the concept with personal, social and professional life.
1. Concept - Role of nurse as an administrator
This concept is taken from concept of administration module 1 entitled as role of nurse as an administration Nurse or administrator, she/he has to carry out management functions of planning, organizing, staffing, directing, controlling and coordinating. Nurse Administrator assumes authority, responsibility, and accountability for the delivery of nursing services. In collaboration with administration, allocates department resources in an efficient and economic manner to enable each resident to attain or maintain the highest practical physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.

All nurses should have through knowledge about the techniques and how to implement in their daily duties. Lack of knowledge can cause false result. None of the nurses can escape her from fulfilling this role. I personally feel that the ability of a nurse to provide correct administration is one of the highly professional and skilled.
