Romeos to Blame

Romeo is the reason that six guiltless individual are deceased. If Romeo would have just stayed home and not snuck into a party, that Montagues were not welcomed, none of this would've happened. Adding to consideration, he was at the party to compare a different women. Also, Romeo murdered half of the people with his own hands. Romeo is most responsible for the deaths in Romeo and Juliet.

If Romeo didn't sneak into a celebration that he wasn't welcomed, six innocent people would have lived on. Romeo knew that he wasn't allowed at the party, yet he snuck in, hiding his Montague face. Tybalt, one of the victims of romeo, even caught him at the party and highly disapproved, “It fits when such a villain is a guest. I’ll not endure him.” (SparkNotes Editors). It is all Romeo fault that Tybalt, Paris, and himself died. He also provoked Juliet's and Lady Montague's death by committing suicide.Also, it's his fault Mercutio is gone, because the fight would have never started if Romeo didn't sneak into the Capulet's party. For example Tybalt states, “Boy, this shall not excuse the injuries that thou hast done me. Therefore turn and draw.”(Sparknotes Editor). This shows that Tybalt wouldn't have killed Mercutio if Romeo didn't arouse Tybalt, making him want to fight.

Though these tragedies may be Romeo's fault, he possibly isn't to blame. Romeo has the right to go to a local party if he chooses. It's not Romeo's fault he wanted to explore his choices of girls. He was sad about Rosaline and wanted to feel better.

Romeo didn't have control that he had to kill some of the humans himself, since he needed to defend himself. He would have been killed. Therefore it isn't all Romeo's fault, he could have been killed by Tybalt or
