I was kind of surprise and feeling a bit awkward since I was being disrespectful to her before. In the meantime, of eating, I was trying to find a suitable time to apologize to her. But she was so busy that there’s really no time for us to
Once upon a time, there was a morose dejected old man named Mr. Johnson who was a sixth grade teacher at a meager middle school in Quakertown. Mr. Johnson loved to subdue his students because he was not a receptive person. Mr. Johnson especially loved to subdue the students that were a big nuisance in his classroom and he did not care if he had to have a brusque attitude towards them even if it meant it would anguish his students. Mr. Johnson even got so frustrated at a student the day before christmas break that he ended up mauling the student. Sadly, this meant poor little Henry had to stay in the hospital for three days with a broken left leg.
All of the students had walked out, but one classroom did not. The 7th grade teacher who is unnamed, said to all of the students “You’re not going anywhere” and wouldn’t let any students out of their
Today was PLC day at Prescott Elementary, which is much like a shorten day, instead of getting out at 3:38 pm., children are let out at 2:38 pm. Even though it was a shorter day, there is still an after-school program. But instead of starting off the program with snack, the children get to go outside. When I walked into the classroom, it was complete chaos, all the children were being very loud and not listening to the teacher. There were also many kids at seats by themselves instead of on the rug, I’m guessing this was their punishment for acting out.
Therefore, we already present two possibly considerably hurdles that fortunately the majority of children manage to overcome smoothly. This is somewhat due to the management of their learning environment and the creation of a warm, positive and encouraging ethos. However, as we know not all children react in the same way to situations and It is clear that when teaching a class of children of any age how disruptive behaviour can negatively impact all involved, leading to the need of a program of positive behaviour strategies that is followed consistently throughout a school.
Of course I 'm not proud of getting in a fight, but, the kid who I stood up for later thanked me. This ensured to me that what I did was the right
I stated that she must always be intolerant of ignorance, but must understand illiteracy. Hoping, that this would bring up her confidence, I retrieved a mini book called A Tale of Two Cities. I opened up to the first page and started reading. When I finished, I asked if she had enjoyed
“Even before Jazz, for most New Orleanians, music was not a luxury as it often is elsewhere - it was a necessity” (“A New Orleans Jazz History, 1895 - 1927”). Without music, New Orleans’ culture would not be the same as it is today. Jazz was not only an immense part of culture in New Orleans, but in the rest of the United States as well. Eventually, Jazz even diffused across the oceans, where different cultures gave their own twist to Jazz. A large factor to many individual cultures, Jazz widely influenced the youth on what they are and what they could be.
Ever since she had muttered at me, I felt different. I’ve been doing things for other people that I normally wouldn’t. Whatever anyone says I have this urge to do it. Like yesterday when Marlana asked me to go and buy her some food. So I got up, drove to Malden and bought some food for her, then went back and gave it to Marlana.
Although my intentions were harmless, I disrespected that girl and as a result of her clearly being pissed off with me, she told the principal on
One day I was observing, a local dentist office brought some employees to the school to talk to the kids about how to keep their teeth clean. This was a cool experience because it seemed like most of the kids knew some of the employees that were talking that day because they were from a local dentist that some students go get their teeth cleaned. That just showed me how cool living/teaching in a small community is because working with a community business can mean some/most students being familiar with the business coming in. It was also cool sitting in and watching how the students paid attention during the presentation. I know looking back at my school days, I always loved when different people came in and talked to the class and taught us different things.

That morning I woke up early as I had to be at school for 8am. I was very excited. When I got to school the buses that were to take us were already there and teachers were buzzing around making sure that everything was in order and that all students going had their consent forms. Before we left the teachers gathered all the students and told us to be careful, to stay together also for us to remember our manners, we also said a prayer as it was a custom seeing that it is a Presbyterian School. As we boarded the buses, my friends and I all headed to the back of the bus as it was considered for some
