People everyday die from accidents involved with alcohol. The age limit right now for the United States is 21 years old. The Law for the age limit for being able to drinking should be changed to a higher age of 25. This would reduce the accidents because people make smarter choices as you grow older. Billy just turned 21. For his birthday party he wanted to go out to a bar and get a drink for the first time. When he got there with his friends they had a lot of fun but Billy had too much to drink and got drunk. He left the bar and started to drive, and as he started down the road he went into the other lane hitting the car in front of him. He and the other person in the other car died on that night. Accidents like theses should be reduced by upping the age limit to 25 years old. As I researched this subject I found from abc news that says that people who drink at a younger age develop a problem and like to drink tons when older compared to someone who didn’t drink who they wouldn’t care as much to drink. Also, I found from abc news that ⅔ of college students drink. These kids are more likely to get beer etc because of the upper students who are allowed to drink. Next, you will become more mature at the age of 25 then when you are younger and also learn more about being responsible with drinking. If we put the age down or stayed at 21 the more people there is to cause trouble with the law about drinking. Drinking and driving is also a big problem in our society.
