In each of my classroom arrangements, I have created enough room for my students and myself to comfortably be able to move freely through the classroom. Allowing me to attend to my students needs as quickly as possible. I have also created enough space for my students to wiggle and move to help them refocus and become re-engaged and sustain their attention towards my lesson plan. “Movement increases oxygen and blood flow, enhancing alertness and helping students keep bodies and minds engaged the task at hand. That engagement helps reduce off-task behavior, which makes classroom management easier” (Responsive classroom, 2014).

I notice that each classroom had a computer station, group collaboration table, a whiteboard, floor rug, cubbies, a projector, a library area and of course a teacher desk. While observing classrooms and creating these arrangements, I decided a supply table, laptop case, and a safe desk should be added to my classrooms. A teacher’s desk gives me my own personal area to gather my thoughts and come up with great lesson plans. I created a safe desk because it is a part of my consequences. Giving students a spot where they can separate themselves from the rest of the group allows them to refocus themselves. As well as, readjusts their behavior to ensure a safe environment for the entire class. A supply table gives me the opportunity to create, display and organize the material for the upcoming assignments and projects. Putting them on a table keeps them accessible for everyone to get to. A group collaboration table was created to provide me with an area to help individual students who are struggling in current academic areas. It allows me to help the students by providing them with one-on-one assistance. The collaborative group table is in the shape of a crescent because it allows me to be closer and in the center of the students. It gives me the ability to see all their faces and assignments to make sure they are all comprehending the material better. Each material and future catering to a different set of needs that the students require to receive the material successfully. These arrangements will help me to successful set, my students, up to reach their goals and their fullest
