Reflection On The Questbridge National College Match

Through the Questbridge National College Match, I was able to learn about Colorado College and was given the opportunity to apply to schools I had never considered before. Questbridge has allowed me to open the possibly of where I will spending the next four years. Being chosen as a finalist for the National College Match gave me an added will to strive to attend a top tier college. Without the Questbridge organization, I would not even had considered applying schools such as Colorado College My first impression of Colorado College was through Questbridge’s partner college overview page. Having the distinct opportunity of four blocks a semester, one class at a time, would allow me to place my complete focus on wholeheartedly learning and experiencing my favorite subjects. Being able to meet with my professor and peers everyday would add a level of closeness to the class. My learning style greatly complements the block plan schedule. At times I find the pile of varying classwork to be overwhelming as I struggle to focus completely on one class with the presence of the other always in the my mind hindering me from concentrating in the task at hand. I am a creature of habit and having a set routine everyday helps me stay productive. As I have experienced during my senior year of high school, time management is usually the main culprit in my inability to complete certain tasks. I believe that a block plan can aide students by allowing them to give their undivided attention to the course being taken. It eliminates the need of having to work on several different assignments each from varying courses a night but on only those giving by one courses. With the block schedule, I believe that I can reach my best potential in a learning environment that meets my learning
