Time Capsule “It is confirmed, we are moving in 3 months,” my dad said. I froze, I was going to move to a different country, a country with a different language and a completely different lifestyle. “Why do we have to move, I really do not want to move,” I cried. “I know you do not Bob, but I have a better job there,” my dad replied. “But I will not have any friends there and I will not be able to understand anything,”I wailed, tears coming out of my eyes. “You will learn the language and make new friends, it will be fine,” replied my dad. “But what about all my friends, and how will I remember all the fun I had here,” I asked my dad. I decided it would be made out of a shoebox and I would decorate it with pictures of me so I would remember how I looked. I decided that inside, I would put pictures of my friends and I and other sentimental things I got from Germany I asked my dad if the idea would work and if he would help me find pictures. He thought the idea was great and helped me print pictures that I put on and in the box. Throughout that week, I found things in my room to put inside the box. I even decided to put little cereal collectibles inside because they made me remember morning when I ran downstairs and opened the cereal box just for the collectible. As the weeks went on, I found more things to put in my box that reminded me of germany and all the fun I had. 2 weeks before my flight, my friends had a goodbye party for me and gave me a shirt with a picture of him and I. I immediately put the shirt in my box and knew I would protect it and keep the box forever. On the day of our flight, I made sure my box was in the luggage and that I would bring it with me.
