During the three years I have been here at Alma Del Mar, I have published many pieces of high quality work. At Alma, my educators make me feel supported and help me feel less stressed. I am very thankful for the people who have helped me grow and be able to write high-quality work assignments. In civics class, I wrote an informational essay for the New Bedford Honors Society Application. The question was “Create an argument about a current real world issue that you feel passionate about.” I decided to write about child abuse. This essay also showed other people's perspectives so the people who no longer have a voice can share their story. Craftsmanship means having a skill at making things. This can be things like having a well-crafted assignment and making sure it was done with precision, attention to detail, but most importantly, this requires determination and perseverance.
