During the process of writing this research paper, I noticed that a lot of my writing skills changed from step to step. In my first draft, I made a lot of errors because I used passive voice instead of the active voice.. After I was informed about my usage error, I spoke with Ms.Trudel and made sure that I understood why I was incorrect and how to avoid making the same mistakes again. At the beginning, I had difficulty writing in-text citations for various sources, but after I finished and edited my draft, I started to become more comfortable using each of the formats. By reading different sources before forming my thesis, I was able to figure out which areas of my topic had the greatest amount of information available so that I would be able to write an 8-10 page paper. I felt that it would have been better if only one assignment was due on a specific date instead of several. I feel this way because if I make a schedule and then assignments keep being added, it makes it impossible for me to manage my time and put my best effort into every assignment. To find efficient quotes to support my thesis, I used my website sources which contained quotes from the time period of my topic. I also looked in books, and in videos from the time period to find quotes as well. I prefer to read something, highlight or take note of where it is located, and then come back to use
