In Last Lecture some of the lesson that randy taught me from really this book is that brick walls are there for a reason When you don’t get what you want, you get experience and don’t complain. Just work harder. Last lecture is full of great lesson that you can learn from but those three are the main ones that really caught my eye gave me a better way of seeing things in my life. The first lesson that I found very help was brick walls are there for a reason. This means that they would let us prove how badly we want things. The brick wall would let us show our dedication. In the text randy says “"The brick walls are there for a reason. They're not there to keep us out. The brick walls are there to give us a chance to show how badly we want something.” (Pg.51-52) The brick walls are there to separate us from the people who don’t really want to achieve their childhood dreams. This thing applies to my own life because I have never really surrounding myself around people who didn’t really want nothing in life. In the book Randy says “Experience is what you get when you didn’t get what you wanted.” (pg.148) This quote means that you are able to learn from the experience whether it’s good or bad it’s a learning opportunity. It’s about how you handle that experience. It’s not about what happen during that experience, it’s about how you react to what happen to you during that experience that’s what makes a difference. This quote is important to my life because in my pervious relationship I wanted so much things to be good and great but in the end it turn out not to be good. I was able to learn and gain experience from that relationship because now I know in any of my future relationships I would know what I need to do
