As the result of my experience this semester I can conclude that this experience was a life changing experience. The way I viewed things in the past about the environment has changed. In the past I was not aware of the importance of living a more sustainable life. Also, how protecting our environment is one of the today’s most serious issues. Some of issues and information that I learned throughout this semester was the web life, food web, overpopulation, mutualism & commensalism, climate change, pollution, rainforest & sea destruction, and the extinction of many animals and plants. It was interesting to learn about the cause and prevention of erosion, while doing my EACAP project. I was not aware of the importance of preventing erosion from the trail. I have many take away this semester not only I have learned about current environmental issue, but also the history of it. Now that I know that someday, we can run out of sources I value than more than ever. During my EACAP project I become more familiar with the causes of erosion and how to prevent it …show more content…

I was not aware of the importance of living a more sustainable life. Before I used to recycle however, now I enjoy and care more about recycling everything I can. Every day I try to spend less time on the shower in order to save water. Every time I hear or see someone wasting water it bothers me and I do a speech on how wasting water is bad to the environment. To help preventing air pollution I try to walk more rather than using my car for everything, like I used to. Even though class is over I will continue living a more sustainable life and educating my friends and family of the importance of valuing our resources since we can eventually run out of them.
