This year I set out to improve this very important skill. Time management is a skill that will be important all throughout your life. In the past I use to just barely turn my assignments in by the deadline or even sometimes past it. I used a planner and reminders on my phone to help me with this. I was tired of always feeling rushed to finish assignments or even chores around my house that I googled ways to improve on not being distracted which contributed to my time management.
As a high school student, I never had a lot of free time to myself. At the end of each school day, I had to go home and babysit my little brothers until my parents got home, which is approximately around five o’clock. After this, I would then go to work for about another 5 hours. Then, get home and finish my school work. This is my daily basis of my day.
I have bible study, soccer practice, church, and work as well. These interests, activities, jobs, and groups have interfered school work at many points. All this has not set me back to missing assignments or to having failing grades. I did not make any excuses to get my work done or to study for tests. I had a fixed schedule to get all my work done on time or before time.
My quality world entails several aspects of what I dream of. College being the first step into the real world is a crucial necessity for my success. My first reviewing will be in two weeks. If I am unhappy with improving my skills, I inspect my notes and repeat the 2-weeks-term again. Within four weeks I should succeed my goal. Looking at my calendar the only place I see where I wasted time was getting assignments done for my Music Appreciation class. I would write down all of the concerts I could go to but if I wasn’t in the mood I would put it off until the last minute. When I first started the time management method I used a student planner.

I have to balance school, homework, sleep, and a job and there is not much time in-between. I get swamped with all of the responsibilities I have to maintain.
