‘A picture is a poem without words’; Horace defines how words are not needed to convey a message and Central St. Martins will undoubtedly guide me to express my vision to prove Horace correct as well support developmenting my artistic skills. I have chosen this course at your institution, as CSM are world renowned in inspiring students, this course has great links with practice and industry through visiting lecturers, live projects and tutors who are leading practitioners. It is without doubt that this makes CSM extremely advanced and this course will surely give me an advantage and experience that I would receive nowhere else. My Future plan is to work in the creative industry doing a pathway that I will uncover via the different avenues on this course.

This includes me being a volunteer at the temple where I’ve created incredible surreal sculptures made to wow the visitors. My current work portfolio includes decorating wood sculptures, 3D media of mesh, foam prints, wire and even electronics. As well as this, I am an art ambassador in the sixth form and this has made me heavily involved in school productions where I’m in charge of the stage set and props design. Studying photography at A-Level has been vital in making my imagination vivid and flamboyant and I’ve used the skills gained here to be an assistant photographer at weddings, receptions and engagements.
