The definition and concept of employability has been in discussion from several years and with the passage of time, the interest is growing further. With the increase in promoting graduate employability, various studies and researches are developed with in-depth taxonomies and breakdowns for specific attributes and skills needed to endorse and support graduate employability like key skills, transferable skills, functional knowledge, industry information, common skills and skills for life (DeRosa, 2001). Due to this, government policy and research over employability are being focused on employability in terms of identifying, individually constructing the needs of the graduates to develop for getting employable. Employability skills vary with the industry however it is advisable that the learning framework offered to the graduates should be clear (Brindley & Mander, 1996). I was more in physical education than vocational; due to this I joined a club for swimming in UK. There my mentors pushed and worked hard over me and I was able to acquire first position in swimming competition held by my college. This is where I decided to pursue this as my profession. In 2013, I was approached by Stonyhurst Sports club as more than just being a swim instructor, i was given proper department to work and encourage students to take part in swimming. Initially I tried to build strong relation with both child and adults who were willingly interested in getting training. I tried hard to encourage and build a relation of self-assurance for my students. I still remember the bond I have with my students made them able to develop more confidence and their level of satisfaction increased. According to my believe, employability is an constant process all over life, and it is moreover complex if not impossible to use collective assessment that only provides static image. Thus it might be possible for assessing certain employability components however students should be prepared as ‘knowledgeable workers’ in order to progress in their respective field.
