Hypothesis
H1. Gratitude and Happiness enhance Self Concept among university students.
H2. Gratitude and Happiness cause Positive Self Concept among university students.
H3. Lack of Gratitude and Happiness cause Negative Self Concept among university students.
Operational Definitions
Gratitude. Gratitude can be measured by scores on Gratitude Questionnaire GQ-6, higher scores indicates higher level of gratitude and thankfulness.
Happiness. Happiness can be measured by scores on Oxford Happiness Questionnaire, higher scores indicates higher levels of happiness where as low scores indicates less happiness.
Self concept. self concept can be measured by Robson Self Concept Questionnaire, high scores indicates Positive self concept where as low scores indicates

This is a 30-item questionnaire for evaluation of self-esteem with good reliability and validity. Defining self-esteem as a composite and not single entity, the scale assesses seven components of self-esteem: subjective sense of significance; worthiness; appearance and social acceptability, competence, resilience and determination; control over personal destiny and the value of existence. The individual is asked to designate how much they agree or disagree with each statement, according to how they typically feel. The answers are scored on a scale of 0-7 and a sum score is calculated. A high score represents high self-esteem, with 140 being considered the “normal” mean with a standard deviation of 20 (Romans et al., 1996; Robson, 1989).
