Connection of Religion & Culture:
In the Han Dynasty Throughout the whole world there has been evidence of different civilizations, each having their own distinct ways. Archeological discoveries have found similar connections that each civilization develops such as language, art, artifacts, and most importantly religion and culture. For instance, the Han Dynasty in ancient China lasted over 400 years developing new advancements such as silk, the wheel barrow, and metal working while believing in religions like Confucianism. Both religion and culture are connected because they each determine the ways of how a society acts, practices, and lives; giving it its own name. In China there are 4 main dynasties Shang, Zhou, Qin, and Han. The most advanced and successful dynasty was the Han dynasty also known as “The Golden Age.” Before the Han dynasty, there was the Qin dynasty (221-206 BCE) which was ruled by Shi Huangdi who believed a strong and forceful government made a successful ruler. Confucius a Chinese philosopher for Gaozu and Wudi was also a teacher that created the 5 relationships: ruler to subject, father to son, older brother to younger brother, husband to wife, and senior friend to junior friend. This concept was to show respect in how you act or acted upon to others.
