Man’s view of the world changed greatly in a blink of an eye during the Renaissance, and for good reasons. The Middle Ages (which stretched from about 500 CE to 1350 CE), were a time of little schools, widespread illiteracy, and the Catholic Church ruling everything in Europe, meaning almost everyone had to look up to them to explain the world. During this time period, many of the population were peasant farmers named serfs under the rule of a lord who they worked for. However, At the backend of this period, the world started to change. Improved farming methods meant serfs depended less on their lords, meaning they could gain freedom and migrate to different towns to do different jobs such as being a banker or merchant.
About 1280 C.E. a new distinct era, the Renaissance, arose and replaced the turbulent and dark Middle Ages. This new era brought unique ideas and a rebirth of Greek and Roman cultures. Universities and schools were founded for learning, Renaissance people were well rounded in studies, and enlightenment thinkers of the time held strong beliefs that there was a Renaissance. From its beginnings in Italy, the Renaissance spread throughout Europe, and furthermore differencing Renaissance Europeans from the religious medieval people.
The Reformation in the Renaissance At the beginning of the Renaissance, the “time” had been going backwards. The people seemed to forget the older way of life. Instead of having stone houses and castles, they went back to thatched roof huts. Even though people neglected things, they also discovered new facts like the sun was actually at the center of the universe instead of the earth.
The Renaissance is widely viewed to be an era of different cultural changes that brought us widespread of new educational reforms. For the first time, education was considered to be an essential part of a society. To the popular thought of the Renaissance, the people who were educated in the Greek classics and with a standard knowledge of mathematics, philosophy ,and literature would be the ones who would bring the advances of human civilization. However, as the Renaissance went on, the popularity of education declined, and education once again became a luxury for only certain people. The renaissance education came from being a guide to the true meaning to a great luxury.(document 1).

Study of the classicals, mostly the Greco-Romans, were increasingly popular among the people of Europe; humanism was then starting to take shape. In the Renaissance the values and purposes of education was emphasized by humanists, who wants to use it to improve society, economic increased, and above all, to be able to restore religious beliefs.
The time before the Renaissance was a time of darkness. During the middle ages there was nothing but disease and religion, which why it is known as the dark ages. The Middle Ages took place 500 CE to about 1350 and the primary players of Europe were the Catholic Church and the Pope. Reason why everyone was against each other and made everything confusing. But the Renaissance was the high peak of European history because that’s when art and literature started to evolve and then science started to finally come into the picture.
When translated to english the French word renaissance means rebirth. This is a perfect description of the event. The Renaissance was a time of rebirth for people between the 1300s and the 1600s, in Florence, Italy. A time of education and self discovery. The Renaissance served as a transitional time between the Middle Ages and the Modern Age.
The period of time that spans from around the 1400s to about 1700, otherwise known as the Renaissance was the rebirth and awakening for new ideas and inventions. It was vastly different from the previous era known as the Middle Ages, for a variety of reasons. Different advances were made in the Renaissance and, people became more educated in science, math, and literature. Ignorance about the world and nature was no longer the norm for the average person. During the Renaissance, a majority of the population were no longer illiterate, which in turn influenced the populace to become curious and ask questions.
The Renaissance reached to an end in the late sixteenth mid seventeenth century. The churches loss a lot of power and grasp of feeling of independence, human expression and investigation led to envy, treason, murder, violence and theft. But than again the Renaissance were the ones that painted the way to a lot of achievements and inventions in a lot of different areas of culture, society, science, religion and modern day life. A lot more advances were proficient during this era that kept on being increased in value, considered and developed in modern day. The Renaissance had a huge influenced on the establishment America was based on and keeps on effecting how American culture and society exist today.
The Renaissance was a period in time where everything started to change after the middle ages. During this historical period humans stared evolving by becoming smarter and inventing useful recourses that have changed the world. The renaissance was a life changing period which brought more joy to the world after conquering the dark ages. The Renaissance changed man’s view on the world by using Art, Science and Literature to make humans brighter and because of the rapid information they were gaining. Art during the Renaissance grew rapidly because of Leonardo Da Vici, and Michelangelo who changed the way people painted and drew by creating strategies which made art more interesting.
Lives of the Most Eminent Italian Architects, Painters, and Sculptors was a book written by Giorgio Vasari in 1550. It celebrated the accomplishments of renaissance artists. His biography on Leonardo Da Vinci is one of his best known works because of his “concern for detail, anecdote, and instruction. Vasari was a painter, architect, writer and historian that was in high demand throughout the Italian Peninsula and because of it wrote his book from an artist point of view rather than a historian’s. According to Giorgio Vasari, Leonardo Da Vinci is the physical representation of the ideal renaissance.
Clearly, The Renaissance started when changes occurred in Europe. PART 1: The Renaissance Makes a Path for The Modern World The Renaissance was an era in history in which classical ideas were reawakened. First, the new philosophy humanism, would weaken the feudal system and give people more confidence to do new and different things. Second, The Renaissance had many talented artist and architects that would make famous buildings and artistic masterpieces.
The Renaissance was a period of primarily artistic rebirth. It occurred in Italy, a peninsula on the central Mediterranean, which made it a hub and ideal location for trading and ports. This exchange contributed to the economic gain and subsequent economic and financial prosperity of the region. With this economic stability, it can also be inferred that there was time to pursue the arts and other hobbies as the necessities were readily available. The Renaissance followed the Middle Ages, a period during which the Pope and Church held absolute and unquestionable superiority, and resistance and denial guaranteed punishment, to the extent of death in severe circumstances.
The Renaissance is a period in Europe from the 14th to 17th century. It was considered the time between the Middle Ages and modern history. It all started as a cultural movement in Italy in the late Medieval period and later spread to the rest of Europe, which started the beginning of the Early Modern Age. There are many highly interesting periods of history but the level of artistic and architectural production during this time is amazing. So much that centuries later they continue to capture the public 's imagination.
The Medieval era was from 400 to 1400. It consisted of masses and chants. It had no time signatures, key signatures, dynamics, instruments, harmony, and females didn’t sing. The Renaissance was from 1400 to 1600. It added the motet, madrigal, and the opera.
