Introduction: The teacher will introduce the ancient Egypt historical events by present a timeline introducing important events such as when cultivation begins, irrigation begins, initiation between Upper and Lower Egypt, age of pyramids, end of Egypt Empire, and discoveries.
Procedure: The teacher will identify 10 major events that occurred in Ancient Egypt, which students will discover and learn more about during a web quest activity. The teacher will provide students with a web quest worksheet with links and questions to guide the students learning.
Core Activity: Students will explore the World Wide Web by learning about 10 major events that occurred in Ancient Egypt.

In the book, students will learn about 9 tales of ancient Egypt figures. The book is presented in a comic-style illustrations bring the Egyptian myths to life.
Core Activity: Students will conduct their own research using either the read aloud book or the internet to find their favorite pharaoh. After identifying their favorite Egyptian figure, each student will create a Facebook profile.
