A couple thousand years ago in a hospital because Muhammed hit his head and couldn't remember anything about him or his friends. Jesus and Abraham sat in a room and talked about many things. Including who they were, who believed in them, their book, their symbol, and where they went to worship. Now on Earth, Satan prowls around on his prey, attempting to lead anyone to fall into their temptations. Satan wanted to have control and say over God before he fell down, but now as a punishment in Hell, he will be silenced in a frozen lake where his wings keep the water that surrounds him frozen. Dante’s use of adding Satan shows the ultimate punishment found in Hell. When the day of judgment comes, Satan will have to confront his sins and recognize that he will never overcome God’s kingdom. Although he tries to use evil for his benefit, a day will come when he has to bow down to God’s dominion.

IM #8 John 15:1-11 Genre: The genre of John is a narrative literature or more specifically, good news. Since the gospels are narrative, we need to empathize the broader context. Taking verses out of context distorts the view of the message and may even prevent the meaning. This means that some of the historical and cultural background information is important. Therefore, when reading a chapter of John, we must take into account the surrounding chapters and even the book itself.

Not only was the United States economic, political, and social aspects booming in the 20 century, but also the essays produced had a powerful movement. Three main themes were common to these empowering essays, which were racial, cultural, and philosophical. They all portrayed influential and entertaining messages, giving a perspective into life in 20th century America.
The Romantic period was a time period in which people changed their views of the fine arts, which in turn affected their work. Some people Including Washington Irving did not agree with the view of the Romantic period and made fun of it in their work with some humorous stories. Irving was a well know writer in the late 18th century and early 19th century who grew up in New York. From the beginning of his life till the end, he was a funny man who loved the fine arts. Irving was originally a lawyer, but later he left his judicial career and followed his childhood dream of being a full-time writer, writing some poems which upon closer observation, it can be seen that he makes fun of the Romantic period.
