Matthew McConaughey is the very bane of my existence. How he managed to have such a well-known and prestigious acting career is far beyond my understanding. He’s the kind of person that just shouldn’t be allowed to open their mouths. Where the middle closing scenes of the children laughing and playing about with the soldiers I could feel and see what Spielberg was trying to say. The happiness that the loved ones who live in memory couldn't have with their families shows how little of hope there was. It makes the film believable; it reminds me of the Syrian refugee crisis in today's world; It's so saddening how kids were being affected by the holocaust; being shot at and watching people get killed in front of them. It made me sad just watching the film when Amon Goeth was trying to kill the old man.

The film The Grand Budapest Hotel showcases a lot of Anderson quirks from the vibrant colors to the tiny miniatures that he used to show the landscape. The Grand Budapest Hotel is uniquely Wes Andersons and really showcases his style.
