Mary Magdalene was known as one of Jesus favorite disciples. Most Biblical

Archaeologist believed that she was married to Jesus. Leana Brown from Discovery Channel states that “In the Gospel of Philip, he states that Jesus and Mary were often companions and he often kissed her on the mouth and he regarded her as his bride” (Nelson). Many scholars have also argued that Jesus and Mary’s relationship was not physical, it was more on a spiritual level.
