One of my biggest roles I have played during my high school career was being a DECA Vice President. This position I took on Vice President of Communications. Being V.P. of Communication was something so special to me because the previous DECA officers felt that I would be one to fulfill the duties of V.P. of communications. The impact this made of my life was very heavy because I learned a lot and gained a deeper love for DECA. I have learned how to communicate with others more, manage time wisely, and plan accordingly.

How will it help make a positive difference in the lives of Long Valley FFA members?” In today 's world the leaders are everything, from the president to the high school ffa officers. It is important to that are leaders have good responsibility and know how to make good choices.
I can contribute my knowledge of social justice and ability to be a community servant to this organization. My long-term life goal is to become a hospital owner in multiple underrepresented areas and foreign countries. Being a community servant, one can build character while helping open doors or provide opportunities for those who are less fortunate. I’ve read the many articles of the large groups of Alpha men graduating from Meharry Medical College, that have had such a huge impact on the surrounding communities by giving a helping hand when needed. Many posses the commitment to the qualities of scholarship, leadership, service, and character, but how one uses them shows the core of their disposition. For each of these qualities, there are many traits, useful in a leader, and not. Since it is only my second year as a student at Carlsbad High School, there has not been much time of my being distracted from my school work as I try to be as diligent of a student as possible. However, from time to time, I take a break and do things for the community instead. The students that make up the National Honor Society are extremely dedicated in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character, and I would be very grateful to be a part of the standards.
During my high school career I was blessed to find the Future Farmers of America, also known as the FFA,. The FFA is an organization that stands over half a million members strong. The FFA has prepared me for my future significantly more than any other group or organization I have been involved in. The mission of this program is, “FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.” I believe it has done just that for me; this organization has made a profound impact on my life.
To prepare an officer selection and training program for organization officers I chose to do it on the Scottsdale Honors Cotillion organization. Scottsdale Honors Cotillion is a tax-exempt public charity, which was created and initiated in 1965. This organization only allows Scottsdale city school female, senior students to participate, such schools would be Chaparral, Cactus Shadows, Arcadia, Coronado, Desert Mountain, Phoenix Country Day, Notre Dame Preparatory, and Saguaro High school. There are many guidelines in order to be considered for membership into this organization and such guidelines would include: having and maintaining a average overall GPA of a 3.0 or higher, continue as a full time student at your school, attend a chosen
The National Honor Society is an opportunity for many students, who are well educated with dreams and leaderships skills, to upgrade themselves. The sole purpose of this organization is to endeavor leaders in different societies to help out their community. It will help colleges to notify the leaders when looking at students’ resumes, for those students in this organization will be the few who are well-developed leaders in their school. Since this will be the first time to be given the opportunity to contribute to this organization, I may not know everything about the requirements in which I need to manage.
In recent years, the pathway to college presidency has drastically changed. Traditionally, chief academic officers usually ascend to college presidency Martin & Samuels, (2015).. However, there has been an increase in senior student affairs officers securing college presidency across the county. Given the fact that many SSAOs are assuming college presidency, I believe it is critical to examine their experiences. The purpose of my qualitative study will be to examine the pathway of senior student officers to college presidency and their transitional experience.
Area FFA Officer Essay There are several reasons why I want to be an Area 15 FFA officer. The principal reason that I want to be an officer is for the learning experience that it will provide. Along with learning various new objectives, being an area officer will help me develop and better some of the leadership skills that I already have. Not only would being an area officer provide personal benefit, I could use the skills and knowledge that I gain to help benefit my chapter. Being an Area 15 FFA officer will teach me several new things about the FFA and leadership skills that I don’t know already.
I’ve noticed that being an African American woman places me below the totem pole automatically, placing two strikes again me. However, as a black woman attending a Historically Black College/University, in my heart, I strive to seek academic excellence and create a lasting impression on the world…starting with the community around me. My interest in Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. sparked when I met Sheila Hudson. At the time I had no idea that she was an active member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. What I saw in Shelia Hudson was a smart, accomplished, proficient women who completely shattered all of my preconceived expectations of what I thought a sorority girl was supposed to be like.
I want to be part of the SHS board of officers because not only do I take pride and jubilance from my spanish heritage and background, but I work arduously to be a salient member of anything I am a part of. I want to learn from others and gain more responsibility to ensure me a more auspicious future. I believe that by being in such an honorable society and as an officer, I can impact my peers as well as gain knowledge from others and their different cultures. As a current member of the Spanish Honor Society, I have already left a mark, by being published in the March edition of Albricias for a drawing. There have been a myriad of instances where I have displayed my leadership qualities.
From a young age, I learned to be very independent, and this independence has led me to gain leadership skills that have proven valuable in school. As Vice-President of National Honor Society, I have helped take charge of more than a hundred members and helped direct and organize community service events. As the vice president of the Black Student Union (BSU) I’ve created lectures and lesson plans for club meetings where we invite students from all different backgrounds to discuss today’s issues. Currently the BSU works to foster a sense of unity within my school’s black community; however, I’ve been working to transform BSU into a forum for all people to share their ideas and beliefs. Ethnic diversity isn’t my only goal at BSU. My hope is that this club will promote equality, diversity of thought, and the unhindered flow of ideas through my peers. I have also taken my leadership skills out of the classroom and onto the track.
