Though they have many strengths, every great business also has weaknesses; Walgreens is no exception. Their first weakness is that the company only operates on American soil. Being limited to America limits their customer base as well as reduces their chance for a larger market share. Their second weakness is that the company is highly vulnerable to government regulations and pricing controls. Since a large part of their business is medical based, the government has a large amount of control over the company.

I chose Walgreens, Kroger, and Walmart for my grocery stores visits. There are obvious differences in each store. The major different in each store are the pricing and the layout of each store. The marketing strategies for each grocery store are similar but not exactly alike. Walmart is a superstore the store offers everything from a wide arrangement of items the household, garden, auto, electronics and beauty.
Publix Market was founded in 1930 as a privately-owned company in Winter Haven, Florida by George Jenkins. The founder had two main focuses. The first was to create the best shopping experience for his customers. The second is to create the best working environment for his employees. More recently Walgreens plan to innovate and reinvent Walgreens was outlined by CEO Gregory Wasson at their 2014 Annual Shareholders Meeting. Named “plan to win” Walgreens, has decided to reposition itself as a health care company through convenience, pharmacy modernization and increased focus on customer care. The company has slowed the growth of new stores and instead they have remodeled their pharmacies, devoted more space to health care and introduced several new innovated features to include Walgreens Take Care Clinics (WTCC), a multipurpose room and a room for community-based health events (CBHE) in their stores. The WTCC allows customers to walk in and receive professional health care, the multipurpose room is where patients receive health screenings and immunizations and the CBHE room is where wellness events and biometric health fairs are held (EY, 2012). Dubbed the “Well Experience”, Walgreens has an increased focus on and invested in training so that employees are, “highly engaged in delivering extraordinary customer care with the right products and solutions in every community in America” (Walgreens, 2014).
In order for a contract to be deemed valid, several elements need to be in place between Sam and the chain store. The four elements of a contract are; the agreement, the consideration, contractual capacity and legal object. The first element of the agreement does exist because Sam made a verbal agreement to send the 1,000 units to the chain store. Based on this verbal agreement, the element does count toward a contract. The second element of the consideration would be deemed valid to on the basis that Sam and the chain store had both agreed on what Sam would be given in exchange for his units.
Records show due to Walmart is all around the place, gross domestic prices have gone up in an amount. Even though Walmart set up bad labor and gives bad opportunities to their employees, customers still thinks it is very convenient due to the low price. Since it is all around the corner, it is easy for people to walk in and walk out in any minute. The shopping carts are also a useful tool for customers to pick up their products, they also have small drive shopping carts for disables so they can even come to the store without any help. Nothing is better than Walmart in my opinion.
SMART is important because its clear way to understand what the objectives is and how to accomplish the objectives. Be specific. If the objectives are not clear or too broad, it may lead to a less chance of being achieved. Objectives must be specific so the goal is clearly understood by everyone involved. • Walgreens has aligned itself with AARP. Partnering together they have launched a multi-year program targeting seniors. There is also a website for this program which displays both the AARP and Walgreens logos. Weakness: CVS: • Real Estate compared to walgreens.

Superior quality and innovation are important to achieving superior customer responsiveness.
