Do we need to take care of each other? Taking care of each other or being brother's keeper is right things that we should do, so it is essential for people to help one another. Being brother's keeper such as help for another, and take care of another may change others lives, and it would give some hope to another. Being brother's keeper is the right things that we should do, because we can make a better situation by being brother's keeper. On "Thank you Ma'am" by Langston Hughes, the robber name Roger (who were just a teenager) was trying to steal Mrs. Jones' large purse. If Mrs. Jones ignored him and just called the police then the Roger would go jail and would live the way that doesn't look good. But Mrs. Jones didn't ignored the Roger and didn't called the police, she took him to her apartment and she feeded him and she talked to him just like an normal guest even though he was a robber, so this is the action of the brother's keeper.By her kindness the Roger's hunger was gritified would got some hope, and maybe by that kindness Roger's live would changed. …show more content…

Paul was just an hotel manager, ordinary man and ordinary job. But he saved over thousand people in his hotel. And none of the refugees got hurt or killed. At the Rwanda there was an war between the two different tribes the Tutsi and Hutu. Tutsis and Hutus doesn't liked each others. Paul is an Hutu and the people who hided in hotel was an Tutsis, but the Paul doesn't meter about it and he just did his job such as hide the people from militia, feed the peoplel, and other more helps, so that's why the Paul saved over thousand people.
