From what I understand, Rhetoric is the practice of effective or persuasive speaking or writing, especially when combined with the use of powerful figures of speech and other compositional techniques. Rhetoric is not just about what’s being said, but also about how it’s being said. There are a multitude of different rhetorical devices used to aid in the art of persuasion. Aspects like the pace of your speech, the tone of your voice, and your overall body language are just as important as the words you recite.
