Born on November 23, 1953 (62) in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to John and Levite Bayless, Rick Bayless joined his heavy food- oriented family. Starting with his grandfather who own a simple Burger and milkshake drive-in to his great uncles who owned a very popular local grocery store to his most important influence foodie, his parent who owned a barbecue restaurant called the Hickory House.
