Just imagine death striking your family; the death of a child, your sibling, your niece or nephew, your grandkid, maybe even your child. This happens to two rivalry families in this play. It’s about a young couple that is submerged in drama and worries due to being from two different families that have had an ongoing feud for years. They try to come up with a plan so that they can be together, but everything takes a bad turn and tragedy strikes. Both of them end up dead and it ends the family feud, but also ends up hurting the people around them that watched their love unravel. This is William Shakespeare’s play, Romeo and Juliet, and the theme is family feuds hurt society, proven by the literary elements.
