Facts/Summary: Robert Caparanis started working for a Ford Assembly Plant in Ohio on March 2008. He was assigned to the pedestal production line where he worked in a relatively small group of 18 members, and was one of the leaders. Caparanis behaviors were a bit unusual and quite different from the others. (Case: 1:13-cv-00926-JG, 2013). Most of his co-workers were masculine men, and Robert just did not fit in. He did not drink, do drugs, or swear around women. While his co-workers enjoyed hunting and fishing, Robert preferred golf, a sport most of of his co workers would consider as not a manly game. Where an employer knows or should have known of the harassment in the workplace and fails to take appropriate remedial action, the employer is liable for harassment done by co-workers.(Case: 1:13-cv-00926-JG, 2013) Opinions: This case is a non stereotypical case in where by the plaintiff was not sexually harassed. In the case of Robert Caparanis the case illustrates that there sexual harassment does not need to be sexy, sexual or pleasing in nature but could consist of pranks and bullying behavior, ultimately if it is done based on the individual's sex. Sexusal harrsment creates hostility and an abusive enviroment for those in the workplace. Sexuaal harrasment of all kinds is not to be tolerated, and I feel that it was the responsibility of the higher ups to take notice of the problems and make immediate changes which they did not do and therefore liable for the discrimination that took place in the
