In Part I Families, Values, Virtues by John Wooden he talks a lot about role models and how they are extremely important. One thing he said that really caught my attention was on page 5: “Being a role model is the most powerful form of educating. Youngsters need good models more than they need critics. It is one of a parent’s greatest responsibilities and opportunities.” John Wooden is spot on with role models being the most powerful form of education.
