She may find that the sprayed grass solves her problem in her own yard, but everyone in California knows that there is a much more overwhelming problem that must be handled. Since 2011, there has been a serious problem of water shortage in California. Because of climate changes heating up the Earth and people using an extraordinary amount of water, California has become one of the worst drought areas in the United States. The First solution is desalination which is the process of removing salt from the sea water to make it drinkable water. Have you ever thought that it would be great if we can use the water from the sea? Because no matter how weather has changed, there is always huge amount and unlimited water in the sea, and we all can use it. The only reason why we cannot use that water is because it is salty water. Desalination can help to make our dream possible. By using desalination system, we can get clean and safe water immediately. Because reservoirs of California is really huge, it would be really expensive if we make huge cover for it. However, this shade ball cost only 36 cent for each, so we can save huge amount of money. Also, we can use this ball for at least 25 years. If it became not working, we can just switch to new one. We do not have to use so much energy, and we do not need to build any building or investing new technology systems and we do not destroy the environment. Only thing we do is release millions of shade ball into the reservoirs and we don’t need any maintenance after. For these reasons, I believe that this “shade ball” will save not only California but also whole world water
