Fate’s Unruly Hand “Destiny is like a train with no brakes; unstoppable,”(Dhliwayo) this quote from Matshona Dhliwayo was definitely established throughout the course of William Shakespeare’s play the Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet. As you start the story you are introduced to two feuding families both of which have only one heir to their family name and riches. These heirs happen to be waythe main characters, Romeo and Juliet, who meet and fall in love at first site. They marry and after a sharp turn in the third act, their lives are turned upside down and in a shocking conclusion they both take their own lives in a expression of love. As Romeo is heartbroken over his past girlfriend, Rosaline, he is approached by a Capulet servant who tells him about the Capulet ball. This causes his cousin, Benvolio, to tell Romeo to go to the ball where he can forget about Rosaline.
