When we got all the measurements we were then needed to calculate it together that was done with some additional help from the Math Learning Center. I knew that the math Trail would have some difficulties like where can you find math but I was impressed from the outcome because we were able to work through and receive effective results. If I were informed to perform another math trail I would absolutely pick another location because I think the beach or park would offer the mathematical features in a different perspective. Overall, I was able to connect with this project by being notified that math is displayed everyday in my life. As a group we can all agree that you will always be able to use or find math on the expected and the
Each of them have a unique design, that would cause it to have special features for each individual ride. Each had a basic metal structure, but an individual outline. My favorite consisted of steep inclines and fast drops, that would leave the passenger feeling heavier than they would normally. I also loved the rapid rate of speed during a ride. It was most interesting that we got to learn the engineering process of a roller coaster.
It’s lack of lighting and small size made it much cooler than the rest of the factory, which allowed me to catch my breath. When my vision adjusted to the darkness, I scanned the room for anything I could use to dust off the now dirtied shirtwaists. There were dusty crates filled with fabric scraps and broken sewing machines. Among the junk, however, I noticed the small, red book embroidered with a beautiful golden fabric. It was not much larger that my hand, and there was nothing written in the book, just the initials “JDR” embroidered on the binding.
No clicks, only muffled screams. This rollercoaster did not plummet on the path, no, it tipped off the tracks. It was suspended in mid-air only for seconds, before gravity grasped its meaty hands around the car and forced it downwards. The janitor kept his whistling, busy in his thoughts; not to blame. It was silent until too late.
It’s never been a secret that you love amusement parks. You love thrills, to go fast, for wind to run its fingers through your hair and push your head back. You love to feel like you’re flying, like you’re a free bird able to soar across the sky. Only roller coasters allow you to feel this sense of euphoria that you crave.

Carousel Ride or Ferris Wheel A carousel ride and a ferris wheel are two of many rides that pop in your head when you think about a fair. Both of these ride make a lot of money, but have u ever thought about which made the revenue. I think that the money made by the carousel ride would be greater. The reason why I pick the carousel was because the ride can fit more people on it rather than the ferris wheel and it goes faster which would make the line wait shorter so more people would want to go on that ride more times instead of the ferris wheal.

Those two things for me brought me to Six Flags Great America for a class field trip. In order for the students to go on the field trip they had to earn a 3.0 GPA or better. For me, this was really hard to accomplish because I was only an average student back then.
INTRODUCTION The goal of this group project was to design and build an original paper model marble roller coaster that must be able to transport a marble from start to finish without interruptions. The design had to be unique and thrilling but safe; and the marble must come to a complete stop at the end of the roller coaster. The track should have the following components: at least two hills, one loop and one turn, and if possible a jump.
