In Jane Austen’s Northanger Abbey, Austen Portrays two very important romantic couples; Catherine and Henry, and James and Isabella. Austen depicts that a great representation of a perfect couple is Catherine and Henry. Austen also shows what poor couple looks like which happens to be Isabella and James.
