Romeo and Juliet should be taught to the freshman class in any high school, since it intrigues and holds the attention of the students of which it’s being taught to because it holds a different style than most writings. This is a great story to teach, since it shows many aspects of writing; it includes drama, emotions, irony, and surprise.
