Paragraph #1- introduction
Attention grabber- “With love's light wings did I o'erperch these walls, for stony limits cannot hold love out.” Judging based off this quote taken from the play was Romeo and Juliet a love story? Why or why not?
General statement -Romeo and Juliet is not a love story, it is a horribly written wannabe love story.
Final sentence-Why you may ask well first off Romeo and Juliet where never in love they met one night at a party as he was getting over Rosaline, so he was most likely just desperate for love, because he was in love with someone who wasn’t in love with him, so to help him get over it his friends dragged him to the Capulets party. In addition to that they were both still children who were very immature and just needed someone to love them.

Statements- Some things that show Romeo and Juliet are in love, is they both are willing to die for each other, they are in love at first sight, and they are very excited to get married right away. In all actuality, this just shows how desperate they were for love and how they were so immature they would just kill themselves and forget about everything they ever once loved.
Closing- They didn’t even think about not killing themselves, Romeo immediately went and bought poison when he found out that Juliet was “dead” and Juliet immediately tried to kiss it off his lips when she had seen what he had done and when that didn’t work, she shot herself. This just proves how immature and desperate they were for someone.
