Romeo and Juliet is one of shakespeares most well known works. The most important thing in Romeo and Juliet is the role of the family, as the rilvaary between the families were the ultimate fault of Romeo and Juliet . Were it not for the rilvary between the Capulets and Montagues, the outcome for Romeo and Juliet would’ve been so different . The rilvary causes Romeo’s banishment, tybalts death , and Romeo and Juliet to commit suicide. The overall theme of Romeo and juliets tragic love story is none other than love. Their love withstood the rilvary between the montegues and the capulets the banishment of Romeo and ended so tragically in the suicide of both star crossed lovers. Romeo a sixteen year old ban can be described as intellegent, sensitive, and handsom Though impulsive and immature, he is an extremely likeable charater throughout the sroty. Hes stuck in the middle of a rivalry between his family the montegues and juliets family the capulets. Juliet is thirteen years old and the daughter of the capulets. She gives the first impression of being innocent shy and obedient. She then speaks to the audience on her balcony confessing her love for Romeo saying “JULIET O Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou Romeo? Deny thy father and refuse thy name; or if thou wilt not, be but sworn my love and I’ll no longer be a Capulet. ROMEO (aside) Shall I hear more, or shall I speak at this?
