Juliet, a capulet, always used her words to express her love. When Juliet spoke of her love for Romeo she was always very crisp in what she wanted to say. Shakespeare made Juliet a character who was very skeptical about her feelings in the play write, Romeo and Juliet. However, he did make Juliet a very determined young woman when it came to expressing her love. Juliet is a girl with a big heart and would pour her whole heart out when expressing her love from someone, specifically Romeo. When introduced to Juliet in the play write, Romeo and Juliet, Shakespeare revealed her as a girl who seemed against love and against having a guy to be there for her. Romeo after the ball that night approaches her at her balcony window to see her once more. Juliet is spotted by Romeo expressing her thoughts of Romeo and how much she loved him but she can’t because they are enemies. “O Romeo, Romeo! Therefor art thou Romeo?/Deny thy father and refuse thy name;/Or, if thou wilt not, be but sworn my love,/and I’ll no longer be a Capulet” (2.2.33-36). Since Juliet and Romeo are sworn enemies it is forbidden to date Romeo but Juliet thinks otherwise. Juliet has strong feelings for Romeo and pours her heart for him because she loves him dearly but yet is never going to see him. Juliet so in love with Romeo makes her think quickly when he reveals that he is in her courtyard trying to reach her. Juliet so in love and so confused makes a drastic decision to prove her love towards Romeo. “If that thy bent of love be honorable/Thy purpose marriage, send me word tomorrow”-Juliet (2.2.143-144). Juliet talked to Romeo confirming that she is serious about their love together and tells him how she feels about him and even more. She makes the decision to marry Romeo and to make it official. Juliet now a person of love is a character in the story who always is expressing love whether it is for Romeo or a family
