In the beginning of the play, Romeo and Juliet, Juliet shows that she is a nice and caring person. Juliet shows her care and concern for Romeo when she warns him to be aware of her father so he does not get murdered. Romeo and Juliet are talking about their love for each other. Romeo responds to Juliet’s warning about her father by telling her that her love has helped him and that he isn’t afraid of her relatives. Juliet wants to warn Romeo that if anyone sees him with her they will kill him. If they do see thee, they will murder thee 2.2.70 Juliet wants Romeo to know that her family doesn’t want her to be with him. She is warning Romeo and is concerned about what will happen to Romeo because she cares about him and does not want him to die. The first place we see Juliet be disrespectful is to her father while they are having an argument over getting married to Lord Paris. Lord Capulet is insisting that Juliet marry Lord Paris and Juliet disrespects her father by telling him she refuses to marry him. Juliet tells her father that she does not want to marry Lord Paris. Not proud you have, but thankful that you have./ Proud can I never be of what I hate,/ but thankful even for hate that is meant love. 3. 5. 146 Juliet is telling her father that she does not want to marry Paris. Lord Capulet feels like he is being disrespected, he calls Juliet a spoiled child and tells her that she is going to marry him or force her there in a cart of criminals.Lord Capulet thinks she is being a coward. Another spot in the third Act where Juliet is being disrespectful is when she is talking to her Nurse. Juliet is talking to her nurse and asking her to tell her mom that she is leaving. Juliet is expecting the Nurse to agree with Juliet and help her be with
