Most people have thought about how much their decisions affect their life. In both “Romeo and Juliet” and “Pyramus”, the authors show personal choice has a greater impact on characters by showing us how the effect of their decisions led to terrible events. In Shakespeare's “Romeo and Juliet” cause and effect is revealed by the characters, whose actions affect them and ultimately lead to their death. This is shown on Act 2 Scene 1 when Tybalt is killed by Romeo which led to Romeo being banished. Cause and effect can also be seen when Juliet plans to fake her death as an effect Of Romeo's banishment. This all helps show how their actions ended up leading them to their demise. The text “Pyramus” also shows these effects in similar ways.
