Who is to blame? Romeo and Juliet's deaths.

Two rivaling families are clouded by their judgment, and straining their relationship with their children. Keeping them from each other to the point that they only see death as an answer. "Romeo and Juliet" is a play written by William Shakespeare. It's the story of two star-crossed lovers whose feuding families have prevented them from loving each other. They must now hide their feelings for each other and marry in secret by Friar Laurence. Even still, something gets in the way and prevents them from seeing one other. Romeo is now exiled for the murder of Tybalt, and Juliet's parents attempted to arrange for her marriage to Paris. They

They disregarded his feelings until they started impacting them. In the first scene of Act 1, the Montagues are asking Benvolio to check up on Romeo because his mood would bring bad news. They were rarely seen being interested in Romeo or being a part of this life overall. Romeo's parents are neglectful and emotionally unavailable to him. For example, Mongatue states, " He locks himself up alone in his bedroom, shuts his windows to keep out the beautiful daylight, and makes himself an artificial night. This mood of his is going to bring bad news unless someone smart and fixes this" (Romeo & Juliet 1.1 125-135). This supports the claim that the Montagues are also responsible for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet. Instead of checking up on their own child, they assign it to someone else. They pressured their children into things they did not want and only cared for themselves. According to the prologue, the Capulets and Montagues were blinded by their hatred for one another. Several individuals, including Romeo and Juliet, were killed as a result of this. The two families agreed to settle their feud after discovering how many problems it had brought. According to Shakespeare, " In the beautiful city of Verona, where our story takes place, a long-standing hatred between two families erupts into new violence, and citizens stain their hands with the blood of their fellow citizens." They let their resentment affect the lives of others, and many members of these families paid the price, including Tybalt and Mercutio. They were shown in the play, attempting to murder one another and causing havoc on others. Romeo and Juliet became caught up in this conflict and had no alternative but to accept death as the conclusion.
