Confidantes can be very different while still being caring. The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet is written by William Shakespeare. Friar and the Nurse are both confidantes but still are different through opinions, risks, and character. First, Friar and the Nurse think differently about risks. Friar takes risks to fulfill other's needs. EVIDENCE Friar takes risks to keep Juliet from having to marry Paris. However, Nurse does not like taking risks. When Romeo tells Nurse to tell Juliet where they should be married, Nurse replies “No, truly, sir; not a penny”(II.iV.73).
