Have you ever fallen in love? Well, Love is something that makes people go crazy. The way they go crazy could be worse ways and good ways too. Also, People who are in love tend to make very quick decisions and not really think or wait/patiences about it. Also, Can you imagine taking a potion to avoid something from your life? No, Right well Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare, both star crossed lovers Romeo and Juliet died due to their poor choices. Firstly, Juliet made one of the worst decisions which was to drink the potion inorder to avoid the wedding with a boy named Paris. According to the book on Act 4 Scene 1, It states “ That Cop’st with death himself to ‘scape from it, and if thou darest, i'll give the remedy.” This evidence talks about that Friar Lawerence gave her the idea to drink the potion so it can avoid marriage with Paris. Taking a potion is one of the worst ways to avoid doing something, just like Juliet took potion to avoid getting married to Paris. Another example of Fate Vs Free Will is that Romeo judges too quickly to die because Juliet died. Romeo also kills himself as soon as he sees that Juliet is not waking up, breathing etc. According to Act 5 Scene 3 it states “Open the tomb; lay me with Juliet”. This evidence shows how he is ready to die with Juliet no matter what the cost/consequences are. This happened when he saw that Juliet was not breathing or talking or waking up and he thought that she died. But well, she was continuous and if Romeo had waited a while then Juliet would have eventually woken up because she was not dead, she was just continuous.
