In the playwright, “The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet,” William Shakespeare develops the theme of acting upon false assumptions and incomplete knowledge. He develops that theme by highlighting how hastily Romeo and Juliet fell in love, as shown by the playwright, “What a change is here! Is Rosaline, that thou didst love so dear, So soon forsaken.”(2.3. 65-66).This reveals that Romeo’s newly acquired love for Juliet was impulsive, much like the decisions we make day to day.
