In the play the tragedy of Romeo and Juliet, there are many characters that hate each other but the ones that hate each other the most are Romeo and Tybalt. Romeo is one of the main characters in this story who is a type of person who thinks that he has bipolar disorder and is a Montague. Tybalt is a very hotheaded and is very aggressive. He hates Montagues with a fiery passion. Romeo is very emotionally in love and impulsive, Tybalt is very hotheaded and aggressive against Montagues. Romeo is impulsive as shown in The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet by Shakespeare page 429 “Alive in triumph, and Mercutio slain?” Romeo is basically saying that Tybalt must die because he killed his best friend. Most people think about killing the people that kills their best friend but they never say it out loud. Romeo is emotionally in love as seen in act I scene I when he says “Ay me! Sad hours seem long. Tybalt is hotheaded as shown in act III scene I “Boy, this shall not excuse the injuries / that thou hast done me; therefore turn and draw.” (Shakespeare 427 lines 63-64) Tybalt is saying that Romeo has injured him and he wants to fight Romeo but instead he fights Mercutio and kills Mercutio with a clean cut/stab.
