I feel so bad about what we did to Melody. I think we were all so excited about the competition we just, forgot. I don 't think she would have made it in time for the plane anyway. It 's not just my fault though, no one else called her either, I just feel so guilty, I hope one day Melody forgives me. On average, 34,000 Americans commit suicide every year, and over half of those deaths are made up of teenagers. In the play “Romeo and Juliet”, the two teenage lead roles end up killing themselves. Most readers believe the main theme in this play is that parents shouldn’t control their children’s hearts or else an act of defiance like this can occur. A less obvious message though that Shakespeare could be trying to tell readers is that often teenagers do not think before they act and do immature, stupid things before thinking about the consequences. This would make sense because Romeo’s character is one who conveys this theme a lot in the drama.
In act 5 scene 5 Shakespeare uses he uses dramatic monologue in the characters speech about his wife. The character is so caught up in what’s going on around him that he’s not really paying attention to his loved ones. In the beginning of his speech the character shows no remorse for his wife all his feelings we cut off except for fear. “She would have died later anyway.
but she was beginning to feel so deeply for that young boy, Romeo that it consumed her. She was foolish, she loved a man she knew she could never be with. I warned her that it wouldn’t end well. But that didn't stop her. She went with her heart and turned a blind eye to the constant warnings of those that wished her well, some would talk of how arrogant she was being, but that was one of the things I loved about her.

Why is Romeo so entranced by Juliet, I try to belittle Romeo’s lovelorn infatuation in order to warm him away from an endmost heartbreak. But yet he does not take my warnings, blinded by love. I fear he will feel betrayal from me. I am confident that their love will only bring grief and misery. Romeo has reached a point that he does not have the ability to enjoy life, he has been overwhelmed.
Juliet… she’s dead! How is it that just this morning I was preparing for a wedding in a house full of excitement, when now I am preparing for a funeral in a church full of woe? All items adorned with white have now been swapped for the darkest of blacks. When I walked into Juliet’s room this morning, I was bewildered to find the nurse and my wife weeping beside Juliet’s bed. I didn’t believe it initially - that she was dead.
