We are all guaranteed a family in life. Some people have a better family than others, but you are forever bound to them. Your parents are the people who help you develop and mature. Everyone’s family situation is different, but we all have a parent figure in our lives. As you grow, you will accumulate friends. Some of these friends will stick with you for life, and others will slowly fade away. Friends are the people that you turn to for everything, and will help you whenever. If you look at it though, at the end of the day you have family for sure, and friends are common. Although, some parents leave their child, because of this the child finds a parent figure in another person. Whether your parent is your parent biological or chosen they always have your best interest at heart. An example of this in The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet is Capulet, Juliet’s father. Most girls at this time got married very young, but he didn’t think it was right for Juliet to marry young, so he made sure that she found a good man at the right age. “My child is yet a stranger in the world, / She hath not seen the change of fourteen years; / Let two more summers wither in their pride / Ere we may think her ripe to be a bride.” (Shakespeare 383).
